This trailer shows a lot less of those investigative elements that we’re used to seeing. I’m guessing Rockstar wants to let the “itchy trigger finger” crowd have a trailer. There is an unusual amount of shooting and punching going on, which is actually a small part of the game itself.
It looks like the marketing machine wants to sell as many copies as it can. However, I’m going to be grabbing L.A. Noire for the investigations alone. I wouldn’t care if I didn’t shoot one person the entire time. L.A. Noire releases May 17th, 2011 for PS3, and Xbox 360.
