Ori and the Blind Forest is a platform adventure game developed by Moon Studios. While I have played other platformers like this before, this one caught my eye from the moment it was sent to me. Mainly because the cover art for the game, but I think that all changed upon loading this game up and playing it. Find out if it’s worth the buy or not!

What We Liked

  • The story in this game will automatically pull you in. From the prologue to when you get straight into the thick of things. It’s an emotional roller coaster and a story well told, almost like a bed time story.
  • This game is absolutely stunning with its visuals. I love the art style that they bring and I feel like it fits the style of story being told in this game. Everything from the level design to character design it’s like watching a painting come to life.
  • Gameplay is a big thing for any game and this one brings smooth gameplay that is easy to pick up and doesn’t hiccup on you like some games I’ve played in the past.

What We Didn’t Like

  • I couldn’t find anything wrong with this game, maybe I’ll update this when I do because I know deep down inside…this is not the perfect indie game.

You will be emotionally involved with the game from the moment you see the opening sequence and continue playing as you stare in awe of its visuals. Buy it..just buy it.
