Mortal Kombat 9 introduces the first full interaction King of the Hill mode. Where players can watch the match in the form of their own Xbox Live Avatars, or with mini-versions of MK 9 characters. They can also cheer and jeer the game match with button presses, and choose a score at the end that reflects “respect points” earned. There is also an option to select a full screen view of the fights, if you don’t want to see the avatars cheering on screen. This looks to be a rather respectable mode choice for the franchise, take a look at the trailer below for more information.
