Six Minutes of Gameplay from Far Cry New Dawn appears

0

IGN busted in with a few minutes of gameplay from the sequel… or continuation of Far Cry 5. We get to see some new enemy types but an overall very familiar gameplay style in Far Cry: New Dawn.

Joel McHale has been cast in Stargirl… wait there is a Stargirl show!?

0

I don’t know how I’m just now finding out about this, but it looks like there is going to be a Stargirl show on the DC Universe network. Joel McHale has been cast as “Golden Age Starman.” It’s unsure how big a role he will have in the actual series at this moment, but it’s good to hear that Geoff Johns is onboard to write 13 episodes of the series.

Stargirl will be played by Brec Bassinger a relatively young and unknown actress. Hopefully, the show has the budget that Titans has to catapult it as a proper superhero show.

Twin Mirror looks like a lonely version of Memento

0

Twin Mirror is the latest game from DotNod. They are getting pretty good at making games with good storylines and below average gameplay mechanics.

Twin Mirror looks like a Mad Max fever dream with a mix of Memento. The only problem I can see so far is that the main character sounds wholly unimpressed by his lack of memory. He delivers his lines with the oomph of a passed out drunk in a subway car.

If we could get a little more impact out of the main character maybe this game has some potential. If you don’t believe me, you can check out the trailer for yourself up above!

Generation Zero is a co-op survival game but against mechs?

0

Avalanche studios have moved on from the daring deeds of Just Cause and the turbulent wastelands of Mad Max. They are instead giving us what looks to be a Left 4 Dead clone but with mechs instead of zombies. A couple of people will look at this as Horizon Zero Dawn but with cooperative play… and that actually sounds really good to me.

The trailer leaves us with more questions than answers, but that’s not a bad thing since we’re only a week away from E3. Here is hoping that we get tons of information on this title when E3 hits. For now, check out Stranger Things inspired trailer with robot dogs.

Persona 5: Dancing in the Starlight is here to make you shake yo’ booty!

Persona 5 was one of those RPG’s that took our breath away with it’s style and flair. Atlus is now trying to bring that style and musical panache into the dancing world with Persona 5: Dancing in the Starlight. Personally, I’ve never been one of the people to grab up the Persona dancing games.

I might give this one a chance if they keep some of the jazzy music from Persona 5 and breathe new life into it for this game. Until then, we’re left with this fast and beautiful trailer showing off the Persona 5 stars in action. Do us a favor and give it a view or two.

Agent 47 is back without all the episode issues in Hitman 2!

0

Agent 47 seems to have it out for supercars as he prepares to assassinate one. Looks like the idea for Hitman 2 is to make the assassinations a bit more fast-paced and dangerous.

There also seems to be a cooperative mode thrown in the mix, but it looks to be more of an arcade mode than anything from what we’ve seen. Check out the trailer above for some gun crafting action, car exploding, sniper action from this downright mundane trailer.

Days Gone – Zombies, Bears, Bikers, OH MY in early 2019!

0

Days Gone is coming to Playstation 4 a lot later than we thought and it’s not all about running from Zomboids. Looksl ike this biker has gotten himself in a mess of trouble for being a biker and has to contend with the hatred of his actions.

Days Gone is starting to look like State of Decay without the harshness of taking care of a base of operations. Check out the full video above to see what all the biker antics are about!

Red Dead Redemption 2 pushed back to October

0

As Rockstar and Take-Two push back Red Dead Redemption 2, I can hear the collective screams of gamers everywhere screaming. “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Don’t worry guys and gals, sometimes a game being pushed back is a good thing. If Red Dead Redemption 2 releases with exceptional quality because of the delay, we’ll be happier for it as the consumers!

We have a consolation prize though! A few screenshots were thrown at us in the hopes we’ll forget about how long it’ll take to get our hands on the game! YAY!

Want the full scoop? Check out the blog written by Rockstar about the delay right here!

Also, take a gander at those screenshots:

Yakuza 6 shows off a buttload of mini-games!

0

Yakuza 6 shows our buddy Kiryu getting involved in both familiar activities and some new ones. We’ve all seen Kiryu and Majima have a go at it in Baseball, but it’s a new thing to see him trying to keep a baby happy.

It looks like fishing has been overhauled completely this year. Forget all that relaxing standing by the water and throwing the line, looks like we’ll be diving in head first with a knife between our teeth. I’m mostly excited for the updated Club Sega roster!

Real talk though… is this the very first time we’ve seen Kiryu workout in a game before? I mean the dude stays ripped somehow and beats the shit out of everyone he sees. This is the first time I’ve ever seen him in the gym.
