Is it just me, or is Electronic Arts always being sued over something new? Like the classic Godfather 3 film, they tried to get out of their evil ways only to be pulled back in. Luckily, their lesson won’t come in the form of a dead daughter, but more in the shape of greenbacks. The creator of the Madden franchise has come out of the woodwork with a heavy lawsuit.

Robin Antonick (The creator) claims that he was bamboozled out of financial due. Apparently, he was told that the code used during his time spent with EA was no longer in use for later iterations. Over 23 years have passed since he was officially credited on the game, and he has not gained a single royalty for a Madden game since.

Antonick claims that his code is still in use to this day, and he wants his checking account to match it. This is a serious claim for EA on such a troll filled day. Though someone not noticing how similar a game looks for 23 years… is kind of funny isn’t it?
